An OEM cling film quote contains film, conversion, core, cutter or refill pack, print, master carton and one-time approvals. Suppliers need not reveal margin, but each quote must show which configuration and charges it includes.

Change one cost driver at a time
Request controlled alternatives such as plain versus printed box or cutter box versus refill. A lower quote that also changes film quantity, tolerance or carton protection is not a saving on the same product.
Allocate one-time cost honestly
