For a first cling film order, keep a feature standard unless it is needed for equipment fit, regulatory use or a real market test. “Fully custom” links film, core, cutter, artwork, print and carton risks before any one of them is proven.

Use a customization ladder

  1. Approve unbranded film, dimensions, core and use.
  2. Approve cutter/refill structure and export packing.
  3. Add a controlled label if sufficient for the trial channel.
  4. Release printed retail packaging after product and box stop changing.

Calculate first-order exposure

Exposure = paid order + samples/setup + buyer-owned unused components + correction cost for unproven features.

Ask whether setup is charged per SKU, artwork or run, and what happens to unused printed boxes after a revision.

Name what the order must learn

Examples: film passes the target pan trial; roll fits the dispenser; case pack works in receiving; customer accepts the size; sell-through supports reorder. A custom feature that answers none of those questions can wait. The MOQ guide explains component minimums. YIYUAN lists standard and custom routes on the commercial roll page, but exact feasibility must be quoted by configuration.
