Cling film is pulled over or around food or a vessel and held by cling, overlap or folds. Lidding film is designed to seal to a compatible tray rim in a tray-sealing process. Equipment and closure method decide the RFQ.
Use this five-question gate
- Is there a tray sealer or sealing tool?
- Must the film bond to a defined rim material?
- Is seal strength or peel behavior an acceptance result?
- Is the film supplied for a specified sealing window?
- Does package validation belong to a tray-film-machine system?
If yes, prepare a lidding-film RFQ. If the film is hand applied or overwrapped without a tray seal, prepare a cling-film RFQ.
