Do not ask for “machine-grade cling film.” That phrase often retrieves pallet stretch film and does not identify a food-wrapping process. State whether the film is hand pulled, used in a tabletop wrapper or fed through an automatic tray-overwrap line.
Identify the route
| Route | Critical input | Approval |
|---|---|---|
| Hand/dispenser | Width, core, OD, cutter, pan span | Repeated covers by several operators |
| Tabletop wrapper | Model, film path, holder and cut/seal area | Recorded setup and pack trial |
| Automatic overwrap | Manual/drawing, web path, settings, tray range | Representative line run |
Approve a product-equipment pair
Record machine model, roll geometry, winding direction, settings, trays, speed, stops, tears, miswraps and post-wrap result. A pass applies to that combination; it is not universal compatibility.
Prevent the wrong RFQ
If the task is pallet stabilisation, use the food film versus pallet film check. If it is food overwrap, send the equipment sheet with the candidate from YIYUAN's commercial cling film range. A useful supplier response lists confirmed fields and the points still requiring a line trial.
